I have an embarrassing confession to make. I used to think that people should think, feel or act the same way that I do.

That’s an awful way to live.

Since then, I’ve thankfully been learning through many experiences and a variety of tools in my life about the beauty of the differences in people.

Recently, we had the joy of attending a wonderful retreat that was really powerful, the “Enneagram and Your True Identity in Christ Retreat”.

There’s so much I could tell you about the retreat, but for now, here are just a few of the highlights of the retreat:

  • I grew in my understanding of God and His character and the way that He brings glory to Himself through us.
  • I grew in my understanding, love and compassion for all types of personalities. This will help me to love others more fully and deeply.
  • I felt so loved by God in a very profound way.

It’s amazing how God wired me and He wired you and that He knows exactly what you need and exactly what I need to be embraced by His love.

I’m so thankful that I don’t think the way that I used to. I now embrace and LOVE learning about the differences in people.

So, what about you? What’s a way that you’ve changed in your thinking, feeling or actions?
